I would highly recommend JPA Tutoring to parents of students preparing for the HSC, as it has made a remarkable difference to my daughter’s understanding of English, her confidence and her performance in assignments and tests – all in a very short time. The two tutors we use are highly intelligent, have a mastery of the subject matter, and thoroughly understand what students need to know and how to assist them to improve. They have both taken the time to understand my daughter’s strengths and weaknesses and tailored their tutoring to her as an individual.

James, the Head Tutor at JPA, also provides feedback, discusses our daughter’s progress with us, answers questions, advises on choice of subjects and generally shares his own experience about HSC-related issues with us at any time. My daughter looks forward to her tutoring sessions, now loves English and her marks have significantly improved even after only 1 term of tutoring. We now realise that it would have been preferable for us to have engaged him earlier in our daughter’s school career.

It’s our absolute pleasure to recommend JPA tutoring. The tutor we had, James, did a fantastic job preparing our son for his assessments and the HSC, tutoring in a variety of subjects (mainly English and Maths) twice a week. James was also always available for our son to text, call or email at any time – something that the big tutoring companies don’t offer!  If our son needed, he could email through an English essay and James would respond quickly with suggestions and comments.  This was great particularly during busy times.

James was always enthusiastic, upbeat and positive which was a real bonus when the stress of exams and assessments set in.  James certainly played a big role in helping our son reach his goals for the final 2 years of school.
